Eggtastic! Jan 16th 09- Our first eggs!

First Eggs! We are sooo eggstatic and excited for these eggs. This has been a long time coming and finally we are seeing some reward for all those labor intensive small chicks in the house crapppy deal ( haha) Our first eggs came from 1 or our 2 Golden Laced Wyandotte. I would say a med size egg? The 1st one is the smallest brown egg ( first are typically smallest) then the second was the other brown egg. The white egg is a commercial egg put in there to show size difference. It is weird but I feel so proud of my girl..? I am sure I will post more when more eggs start coming. We now have gotten a large brown egg ( grocery store size) from our Rhode Island Red hen. Pics to come.
It had been fertilized
Here she is.
Look it that mug!

Greg and Sak Pics

So we never take pics of us anymore. It is always all about the kids and often times we are not even in the pics. So lately I have been trying to make it a point to take a few pics of us....since it is still suppose to be all about OUR lives right?? LOL Well since it all originated from us right? haha

Thanksgiving

A quiet and peaceful Thanksgiving. Giving thanks for having such a wonderful family! Bean and Terui

Halloween 2008

Malia was so cute in this little dragonfly costume. ( Borrowed from her cousin Colven) Here at her baby gym class all the mothers unsuccessfully tried to do a group photo of the babies in costume.
The hay ride at the pumkin patch for Savannah's school field trip. Aunt Erin and Cousin Dragon Colven. Savannah was "Belle"-Disney princess. I was a witch, I am not really good at dressing up for Halloween. It's never been my thing.

Guess what Greg was?... He was a sunny side up egg. haha.

Malia is 1!

Malia, I just cannot believe how time has flown by. You are now one and it literally feels like you are only 6 months. It has been a whirlwind with the both of you. You are very outgoing, full of energy and have a very silly sense of humor which I like to call the "Terui" sense of humor. Somehow you remind me of my dad and how he used to tape up cards with monkeys making silly faces or of your cousin Mei with her husky tom boyish voice and laughter. You growl, grin, grunt and giggle which keeps us laughing and surprised all the time. You are a girl who knows what she wants, that is for sure! Can we say demanding at times but yet so cuddly other times.Yummy Carrot Cake made with Agave nectar soon becoming a family tradition. We had a small intimate family party out on the lawn at the Bean Ranch.
