OMG!! What!! Hide the scissors!

So last night before bed Savannah crawled into our bed to say good night. I noticed that her head band was off and her hair felt a little funny in the front. All that day I kept finding wisps of hair on the floor so I knew she had cut some off the back. I was ok with that but told her no more. Well, come to find out this morning she cut some bangs too somehow sometime yesterday!
Check out how much she cut! wimper wimper..;(

I later found all the locks in the trash this morning...
Isn't it a nice do right before her big 4th birthday party this Saturday??! Ugh..haha!

Camping trip to Lake McClure w/friends

Look at the smoke in the distance..It got really smokey several times. We even saw the amber light right over the hills from the wildfires burning. Check out the low water too due to the fires.

We love the Aquatic Center!!

There is Jasmine, Johnny and Savannah

We had so much fun at the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center! It is so great for the little ones too because it has a really shallow wading pool with slides and water shooting up everywhere and a water shooting up out of the ground zone, and another warmer deeper pool. Oh and also 2 huge big kid slides and a snack bar to boot. Didn't have a chance to take many pics since we were all so busy with the kids. We invited Cousin Colven too along with some other friends. I wish I got a pic of Malia sitting in the water. She loved splashing around. Oh and it was so funny - I had her in the life vest in the deep pool while Savannah and Colven were jumping off the edge of the pool( Savannah was getting her courage from her 2 yr old cousin-haha) with aunt Erin. Malia was falling asleep in the pool while I was holding her getting splashed in the face and everything. Awwh here is Malia wearing Savannah's swimsuit. I have such sweet memories of when Savannah was the same age and we used to come to this same pool too.

Look at Lucy

Look at Lucy! She is the best dog for us. She is such a patient, tolerant and lovable dog. Savannah dresses her up, carts her around in the child size grocerey cart and makes Lucy wait while she gathers more stuff to put in the cart. I tell ya, Lucy is the best. Look at her patient face..haha. We do have our days though where Savannah wants to do too much for Lucy and I feel sorry for Luce having to put up with an almost 4 yr old all the time. We do have our talks about giving space, treating with respect and recognizing living creature's have their own will though. Aren't they cute together!? These are memories to last.

Rose picture series -Abraham Darby

This rose has been my favorite for 10yrs now. She ( since I think roses are gals or at least this one is) smells divine and looks rich and complex...the very essence of femininity.

Rose picture series Bolero

Here are some beautiful rose pics.
Roses are about the only thing I have growing so as far as pics of anything growing..this is it.

In love with roses

I had forgotten how much I love roses in the spring/summer. After 4 yrs of not noticing them and yrs of neglect I am surprise that some of them lived. The ones I carted from house to house and has survived 8 plus yrs. Now my passion for them is back. ( I can't believe that I had forgotten this or lost it or..? interesting)

Oooh Abraham..
Golden Celebration is such a trooper. He was totally neglected and didn't hardly even get pruned this yr as I did it so late in the spring and hacked him..oops. Anyhow he still puts out a ton of blooms. He reminds me of a chandelier.

Check out how big this bloom is. Almost as big as Savannah's head-hee hee.

Malia is crawling!!

Omg! Today is the actual day that Malia started crawling! Yesterday I took some video of her in her baby class and she was almost there. Well it happend today. Slow but she can move around now. I am soo excited...and scared. Haha!

A few pics from cousin Colven's party

Great Idea! Bubbles!

Mud time!

Is it my birthday yet??!

Savannah is turning 4yrs old Aug 1st and this is the first year that she has really been into her birthday. She asks all the time " Is it my birthday yet?" and when I say no it isn't, she sighs and says "Ughhhhh"! She can't wait for it. Partly because we have been to so many birthday parties and hers is pretty much last compared to her friends at school.

Here she is helping with the invitations. Of course Princess stickers and invites.

Omg....!

My efforts for Mother Earth..

I vow not to take home anymore plastic shopping bags!! Not one more! I despise them! I have a million already that we are trying to recycle from eons ago, so no more! Yeah, we had already changed over using to the boxy cloth like green bags for all our grocerey shopping but what would get me were the short unexpected trips to random stores when you only by 5 to 10 items and didn't plan for it. Or what about clothes shopping?? Since all of my other "green"grocerey bags were bulky and big sitting in the back of my car for those big grocerey shopping days they did me no good. Well until I discovered these:
EnviroSax and Chico bags.
I absolutely love them because I can carry them in my purse. They fold up so tiny. I carry about 3 at all times and they have already served me well! Before I would try to just carry my items so I wouldn't have to use another plastic bag but who was I kidding?? I had my hands full already, with holding Savannah's hand and Malia in the other arm. Also as you can see the EnviroSax's ones are large. They are twice as big as a regular plastic bag. The Chico bags ( also carried at Whole Foods) are nice too because they stuff into itself so easy and fast but are smaller. I end up using the larger EnviroSax more. Two thumbs up here for both. P.s look at my handsome model-haha( it's Greg)

Looky this!

Check this out. I just found this at Target and anyone who knows me knows that we use hand sanitizer ( alcohol only formula) regularly when we are out and about. Well this one is totally natural made of "Ingenium" main ingredient Thyme oil. 99.99% effective as well. Anyhow I like this because many times we can't use the traditional alcohol based ones on little ouchy hands so this would be the solution. No sting, non toxic /edible, etc,..blah, blah blah, non drying and it sprays so I can spray it onto grocery carts etc. As soon as I did Malia put her mouth right to the cart- yuck but yippee! (Gen and Nori- I may have to send you some if you don't have it out there.)

Malia starts Baby Gym baby class

I enrolled Malia into "Baby Gym"class. I wanted to make sure that she, as the second child gets to have just what the first child had too.

Look how cute Malia is in the ball pit with a ton of other babes. Most all are crawling. She is loving it, she gets really excited when she sees all the other babes cruising, playing and interacting. I think it is all that peer pressure that has motivated her to practice crawling..she is not quite there yet, but she leans so far foward and then back into sitting position. She also gets on her arms and knees and rocks back and forth but if she ends up on her stomach, it is all over-she starts crying for help. I think just a few more weeks until she starts crawling!

It is funny because when I took Savannah to this class when she was this age we had a off class of about 6 babies. This one on the other hand is big! I would say atleast 15 babies or even more. I will take more pics to show how lively this class is. It is fun! It also gets me out there.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

What a nice day at the Aquarium with Bella and Mia.
